Settings

B&L’s settings are minimal by design. Most of the per-screen preferences (active unit stake, ladder reverse) are session-level so they don’t get in your way.

The settings that do persist for your account live in two places:

In-app

• One-tap mode — toggle on/off per device session. Persists across sessions for your account. See One-tap mode.
• Sport preferences — on /browse, choose which sports appear on your home page (and their order). Hidden sports are still reachable via the search/all-sports view, just kept off the main hub.

Stored against your account

These settings are written to your Betfair-linked account record and follow you to any device:

• One-tap preference (above)
• Sports preferences (above)
• Welcome modal dismissal (so the first-time-only walkthrough doesn’t reappear)

Things that aren’t settings yet

The following aren’t configurable yet but might be in future:

• Default unit stake (currently £2 on every fresh session)
• Theme / colour overrides
• Commission rate (currently fixed at 5% — Betfair’s default UK rate)
• Confirmation behaviour beyond one-tap (e.g. always-confirm-above-£X)

If any of these would change how you use B&L, that’s useful feedback.

Logging out

There’s no big visible Logout button by design — the account session is tied to your Betfair OAuth, which expires periodically anyway. If you need to log out manually (e.g. switching to another Betfair account), clear your browser cookies for the app domain.
