Bets & Ladders Exchange Pro

Welcome to Bets & Ladders

Bets & Ladders is a trading interface for the Betfair Exchange. It’s built for people who already use Betfair and want a faster, cleaner way to navigate markets and place bets — particularly with ladder views that aren’t available in Betfair’s own apps.

You’re already logged in via your Betfair account, so anything you do here happens against your real Betfair wallet. Stakes, matched bets, P/L — all of it goes straight to Betfair, same as if you’d used their site.

Who B&L is for

People who’ve placed exchange bets before and want better tools. We assume you already know what back and lay mean, what an exchange is, and roughly how trading on Betfair works. If any of that’s new to you, get a few bets under your belt on Betfair’s main site first — B&L will make a lot more sense afterwards.

How access works

New accounts start on the Free plan — 100 bets a month, no payment details, no card. Upgrade to Trader any time for unlimited bets: £9/month or £72/year (VAT included), secure checkout by Stripe. Early-access members who joined before pricing launched keep their free Trader launch period — your plan page shows how long you have left. See Your plan for the full plan structure.

If you’d rather use the Free plan (100 bets per month, free forever), you can switch from the cog menu → Subscription. See Switching between plans for the details.

Three things to try first

If this is your first session, the fastest way to get the hang of B&L is to do these three things in order:

  1. Browse to a market. Tap the Browse tab and pick a sport, then a country, then a competition. We’ve stripped out a lot of the noise from Betfair’s nav — you should land on a single match or race in a few taps.
  2. Open a runner ladder. On any market page, tap a runner card to open the full trading ladder. This is where the real work happens — prices update live, your matched bets show up against the price levels.
  3. Place a small test bet. Tap a back or lay price on the ladder. Pick a £2 stake and confirm. The bet goes straight onto your real Betfair account — cancel it from /orders if you want it back.

That’s the loop — browse → ladder → bet. Everything else (swap back/lay, cashout, one-tap mode) is a refinement on top.

What’s on the help menu

This help section covers every B&L-specific feature. The articles in Placing & managing bets are the most important ones — they walk through the trading workflows step by step. Power features covers one-tap and other shortcuts most people only enable after they’ve used B&L for a few sessions. Account has subscription and billing details.

If something in the app looks confusing and you can’t find an answer here, the missing article is probably the most useful one to write next — let us know.
