Switching between Free and Trader

You can move between the Free and Trader plans at any time during the launch period — both directions, no friction.

From the Plan page

1. Open the cog menu (top-right of the app).
2. Tap Subscription to land on the Plan page.
3. The page shows your current tier and a button to switch:
   • On Free: Upgrade to Trader
   • On Trader: Move to Free
4. Confirm the change. The new tier takes effect within a few seconds.

What happens to your bet count when you switch

Your monthly bet counter doesn’t reset when you switch. The count is per-user and per-calendar-month, regardless of which plan you’re on.

• Free → Trader: Your count keeps incrementing as you bet, but Trader’s unlimited allowance means it doesn’t matter. If you switch back to Free mid-month, you pick up where you left off.
• Trader → Free: You inherit whatever count you accumulated while on Trader. If you bet 60 times in the first half of the month while on Trader, switching to Free leaves you with 40 left. Cancellations and cashout-fills still follow the usual counting rules.

This is deliberate — switching plans isn’t a way to reset your allowance, just to change your future cap.

When does the launch offer end?

The Trader launch offer is a one-time grant per account. If you switch to Free and then back to Trader, you don’t get a fresh window — you get the remainder of your original one.

Why you might want to switch

• Free → Trader: You’re trading more actively than expected and the 100-bet cap is too tight. Switching gives you the unlimited window straight away.
• Trader → Free: You realised you only bet a handful of times a month and the unlimited tier is overkill. Moving to Free now means your launch offer doesn’t get consumed for nothing — you keep the remainder of the window in reserve in case you become more active later. Verifying the switch took effect

After tapping the switch button:

• The tier badge in the cog menu updates within a few seconds.
• The /orders and /market pages will reflect the new gate immediately — try placing a bet to confirm.

If the badge doesn’t change after a few seconds, sign out and back in. The tier is carried on your auth token, which only refreshes after each new session.
